Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for storage tank farm projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop GA, layout, foundations, grading, drainage, paving, and underground utility drawings.
• Prepare RCC foundation drawings for storage tanks, pipe racks, equipment foundations, pump houses and other structures.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and bar bending drawings as required.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Review vendor drawings and incorporate approved information into civil drawings.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments, client feedback and site requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs, standards and quality requirements.
• Provide drafting support during construction and respond to site queries.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman to prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for storage tank farm and associated industrial infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient in preparing construction drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for storage tank farm projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA), layout, foundation, grading, drainage, paving, and underground utility drawings.
• Prepare RCC foundation drawings for storage tanks, pipe racks, equipment foundations, pump houses, and other civil structures.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and bar bending drawings as required.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines to resolve interface issues.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D or MicroStation will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of RCC and structural detailing.
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, roads, paving, and underground utility layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.
• Knowledge of relevant Indian and international standards is desirable.
