Job summary

Vistex Salesforce Senior Developer will build out and enhance the Salesforce CRM platform to support a scalable business model and improve efficiencies and effectiveness of a global organization while maintaining and ensuring the integrity of the data. The Salesforce Architect is an expert in getting the most out of the CRM.

You will be responsible for design and architecture of core CRM/ Salesforce technology platform and its data, work with leads, contacts and opportunities, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or better in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5 years of experience designing, coding, implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, SOQL/SOSL, Visual Force components and lightning Components and design system.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator).
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.
• AGILE/SCRUM methodology experience and hands-on experience with Salesforce Cloud APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement APEX Triggers, Classes, Visualforce components and Lightning Components.
• Work with data warehouse, multiple databases, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with on-site/off-site teams to deliver projects.
• Maintain and update governance and best practices for Salesforce implementations.

The Salesforce Architect is a hands‑on leader that is responsible for the design and architecture of core CRM/ Salesforce technology platform and its data.

Responsibilities:

• Experience designing, coding, implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, Visualforce components and lightning Components and design system.
• Hands on working experience and knowledge of data warehouse, multiple database platforms, and ETL.
• Experience with AGILE/SCRUM methodology and processes.
• Hands‑on ability to contribute to activities related to Salesforce until the team is fully functional.
• Effectively work with client side teams and management, on‑site/off‑site development staff to accomplish project deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships.
• Continually follow and keep themselves updated with new Salesforce product capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions.
• Self‑starter with problem solving abilities and someone who is open to learning new technologies as and when required.

Qualifications

Education

Required

Bachelors or better in Engineering Technology or related field.

Experience

Required

5 years:

Experience in designing, coding, implementing APEX code Triggers, Classes, SOQL/SOSL, Visual Force components and lightning Components and design system

Salesforce certifications is a plus. e.g. Salesforce Platform Developer I or Certified Salesforce Administrator certifications

Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services is a plus

A desire to work within a fast‑paced, collaborative, and team‑based support environment

Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships

A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies (Force.com Platform, Eclipse, Talend Open Studio, Oracle, MySQL, Visual Studio 2012, object relational (O/R) mapping (NHibernate), NUnit)

Experience with Git, Bootstrap and D3

Active in the Salesforce community

Experience with AGILE/SCRUM methodology and processes

Strong hands‑on experience in working on Salesforce Cloud APIs

Familiar with all the governance limitations across editions of salesforce.com

Experience with the UI setup to configure Service Console in Salesforce Lightning

Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companies

Preferred

Experience on Einstein, CPQ, Heroku is a plus
