Job summary

Jenx Digitech Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise end-user computing and core server infrastructure. You will lead endpoint management, OS imaging, software deployment, and OS migrations to ensure reliability and a seamless user experience.

You will manage Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Group Policy, AD, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), plus Azure and AV workspace tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise desktop environments.
• Expertise with endpoint management and server administration.

• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoint environments.
• Manage Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Group Policy, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Create and maintain desktop images, software deployment packages, and endpoint configurations.
• Lead OS migrations, hardware refresh programs, and endpoint modernization initiatives.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, and Group Policy.
• Perform server performance monitoring, capacity planning, and health checks.
• Support server backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Participate in server upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure refresh projects.
• Troubleshoot server, storage, and operating system-related issues.
• Manage VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Support Azure-based infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Assist with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft 365, and Entra ID administration.
• Monitor and optimize virtual desktop and server environments.
• Implement endpoint and server security best practices.
• Manage vulnerability remediation and security patching.
• Support EDR, antivirus, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in audits and security assessments.

The Senior Desktop Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise end-user computing environments and supporting server infrastructure. This role provides advanced technical expertise in desktop engineering, endpoint management, Windows server administration, virtualization, security, and automation. The individual will serve as a technical escalation point and lead infrastructure projects that enhance reliability, security, and user experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & Endpoint Engineering

Pay: ₹25,** - ₹45,** per month
