Job summary

FMC in India is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and fabrication planning for hydraulic tubing, ensuring alignment with SSE standards and client requirements.

You will supervise design work, identify risks, and contribute to complex assignments, leveraging NX and drafting expertise. Strong English communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting of hydraulic tubing.
• Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools.
• Project management skills and ability to supervise a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with client's requirements, the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
• Supervises, adjusts, and consolidates the design work within projects.
• Contributes to identifying risks associated with design activities.
• Directly works on complex design assignments or related activities as a skilled designer.

Leads the production of design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation within SSE's standard projects and/or operations, in accordance with drawing, design, manufacturing standards and processes, schedule and man hours, with a permanent concern for quality standards and targets.
