Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Hyderabad, India invites an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead 3D modeling and drafting of hydraulic tubing within SSE projects, ensuring quality and compliance with client requirements and TechnipFMC processes.

You will supervise design activities, assess risks, and contribute to complex assignments, using NX and standard practices, with strong English communication and cross-cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience in 3D Modeling and drafting of Hydraulic tubing
• Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools
• Advanced organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to supervise diverse cultural team
• Ability to transfer expertise and persuade
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with client's requirements, the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
• Supervises, adjusts, and consolidates the design work within projects.

Leads the production of design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation within SSE's standard projects and/or operations, in accordance with drawing, design, manufacturing standards and processes, schedule and man hours, with a permanent concern for quality standards and targets.
