Job summary

Gradiant is seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer with 8+ years of experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawing preparation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and in 3D tools like AutoPlant 3D, REVIT, E3D, PDMS, SP3D is required.

Projects span Water, Power, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, and related industries. The candidate will collaborate with Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Process and Electrical teams, preparing instrument hookups, cable trays, JB layouts and BOMs, and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical.
• 8+ years in E&I design in relevant industries (water, power, pharma, etc).
• Experience in WTP/STP/WWTP/ETP/UPW projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• 3D modeling of E&I items (instruments, junction boxes, PLC panels, RIO panels, cable trays) in A3D, REVIT, E3D, PDMS, SP3D.
• Create 2D drawings for Electrical and Instrumentation layouts in AutoCAD.
• Prepare Cable Block Diagram, Cable Schedule and JB grouping.
• Produce JB interconnection drawings and instrumentation layouts.
• Design instrument hookup drawings with BOM and installation drawings.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Process and Electrical teams.
• Understand and apply PID related to E&I discipline.

Role Overview:

We are seeking Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer with more than 8 Years of Experience in 3D Modeling and 2D Drawing preparation in AutoCAD experience in any of the following industry like Water, Power plant, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Paper and Food industry.

Core Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in 3D Modeling of E&I items like Instruments, Junction Box, PLC panels, RIO panels, Cable Trays in any 3D Modeling software like Autoplant 3D (A3D), REVIT , E3D, PDMS, SP3D
• Strong in 2D drawing generation using AutoCAD in all Electrical and Instrumentation layout and drawings.
• Preparation of Cable Block Diagram, Cable Schedule and JB Grouping philosophy
• Preparation of JB Interconnection Drawing, Instrument & JB Location Layout.
• Preparation of Instrumentation cable tray routing and related supports.
• Preparation of Control room layout
• Preparation of Instrument Hookup drawing along with BOM
• Preparation of Instrumentation installation drawing.
• Knowledge of generating Bill of Materials for Instrumentation.
• Interaction with Mechanical/ Civil/ Piping /Process/Electrical team
• Knowledge/ understanding of PID related to E&I discipline.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical
• Water Projects, Chemical Processing, Power Plant projects, Pharmaceuticals, Food Industry and/or Oil & Gas Projects experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in WTP/STP/WWTP/ETP/UPW projects added advantage.
