The role involves creating 3D models of E&I items, generating detailed 2D layouts, and coordinating with multiple teams on projects across water, power, pharma, and oil & gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical.
• Water, Power, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Food industries preferred.
• Knowledge of WTP/WWTP/ETP/UPW projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• 3D modeling of E&I items like instruments, junction boxes, electrical panels, RIO panels, cable trays.
• 2D drawing generation in AutoCAD for Electrical and Instrumentation layouts.
• Prepare Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Schedules and JB grouping.
• Create JB interconnection drawings and instrument/JB location layouts.
• Prepare SLD diagrams and instrumentation cable tray routing.
• Develop earthing, lighting layouts and MCC/PLC room layouts.
• Prepare Transformer and instrumentation hookup drawings with BOM.
• Generate installation drawings and BOM for E&I systems.
• Interact with Mechanical, Civil, Piping and Process teams.

Role Overview

We are seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Designer with less than 6 Years of Experience in 3D Modeling and 2D Drawing preparation in AutoCAD experience in any of the following industry like Water, Power plant, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Paper and Food industry.

Core Responsibilities

• Knowledge in 3D Modeling of E&I items like Instruments, Junction Box, Electrical panels, RIO panels, Cable Trays in any 3D Modeling software like Autoplant 3D (A3D), REVIT , E3D, PDMS, SP3D
• Strong in 2D drawing generation using AutoCAD in all Electrical and Instrumentation layout and drawings.
• Preparation of Cable Block Diagram, Cable Schedule and JB Grouping philosophy
• Preparation of JB Interconnection Drawing, Instrument & JB Location Layout.
• Preparation of SLD diagram
• Preparation of Electrical / Instrumentation cable tray routing and related supports.
• Preparation of Earthing layout, Lighting/lighting layout along with support,
• Preparation of MCC / PLC room layout
• Preparation of Transformer equipment layout.
• Preparation of Instrument Hookup drawing along with BOM
• Preparation of Electrical & Instrumentation installation drawing.
• Knowledge of generating Bill of Materials for Electrical and Instrumentation.
• Interaction with Mechanical/civil/piping /process team
• Knowledge/ understanding of PID related to E&I discipline.

Requirements

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical
• Water Projects, Chemical Processing, Power Plant projects, Pharmaceuticals, Food Industry and/or Oil & Gas Projects experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in WTP/STP/WWTP/ETP/UPW projects added advantage.
