Job summary

JITO in India is seeking a senior product development professional to lead design and development of I.S. machine spare parts, from concept to production, with oversight of machining, assembly, and inspection.

The role emphasizes coordinating design reviews, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and delivering high-quality components on schedule, while maintaining thorough documentation and pursuing continuous improvements in process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of I.S. machine spare parts such as baffle, funnel, blow head, blankmoulds, arms, shafts, etc.
• Handle complete product development cycle – from design to final production.
• Manage and supervise workshop operations including machining, assembly, and inspection.
• Ensure proper utilization of machines like lathe, milling, cylindrical grinder, and other shop-floor equipment.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Implement improvements in process efficiency and product performance.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for designs and production.
• Troubleshoot issues related to machining, design, and assembly
