Job summary

KSB, Inc. in Coimbatore invites a Senior Design Engineer to translate project requirements into detailed specifications for nuclear and special valves.

You will create 3D models, develop 2D manufacturing drawings, and perform design calculations to support development. You will conduct stress, thermal, seismic and fatigue analyses (FEA), select materials, and prepare BOMs, GADs, and technical reports for submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in valve design and nuclear/special valves is preferred.
• Strong CAD/CAE capability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand project/customer requirements and detail technical specification for the product.
• Create detailed 3D models, detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing of valves.
• Perform design calculations, procedures and design layouts required for development of valves.
• Perform stress, thermal, seismic, and fatigue analyses (FEA) on valve bodies and components.
• Selection of suitable materials for applications and preparation of material specifications required for the project.
• Documentation - Preparation of BOMs, GAD, technical specifications, reports required for submission and approval.
• Proactive in identifying the technical deficiencies and investigate, trouble shoot the technical issues.
