## Senior Engineer - Software TestingApply: Pune: Full time: Posted Today: JR\\_30303## Senior Test Engineer (m/f/d)We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our DPSP platform. In this role, you will work at the interface between cloud-based software and connected hardware devices, validating functionality of the DPSP backend at an early stage. You will collaborate closely with software developers, other test engineers and product owners to ensure a robust and scalable solution.## ## Responsibilities· Validate changes in the backend and design, develop, and execute system test scenarios· Validate data transmission between hardware devices and cloud services, correct storage of data and forwarding to other system components· Create and maintain test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements· Automate and maintain system test cases· Identify, analyse, document, and track software and system defects· Perform regression testing as part of release and maintenance activities· Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and quality assurance processes· Collaborate closely with development and product teams throughout the software lifecycle· Ensure that delivered features meet defined quality, performance, security and reliability standards ## Required Skills· Strong experience in software testing, system testing, or quality assurance· Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect management processes· Good experience with test management and issue tracking tools· Good experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Robot Framework)· Understanding of APIs and data communication· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Ability to work independently and drive quality improvements· Excellent communication and collaboration skills· Good written and spoken English ## Nice to Have· Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms· Experience in IIoT, condition monitoring, or predictive maintenance solutions· Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#)· Experience with performance, reliability, or security testing· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices### About UsKSB is a leading supplier of pumps, valves and related service.
