Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd in Pune is seeking a design and development professional to manage projects, interact with team leaders and stakeholders, and present final designs with supporting calculations. You will create approval layouts, manufacturing drawings, and final release documentation for the project.

The role requires hands-on experience in conceptual design, GD&T, and validation of pneumatic cylinders, motors, and gearboxes, with strong CAD/PLM skills and excellent communication for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SPM, automation, fixture design.
• Experience in tightening solution designs is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Study project inputs and collect data from internal stakeholders.
• Conduct or participate in project kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Freeze scope of work and create tentative delivery schedule with hours estimate.
• Create concepts with calculations and validations using checklists.
• Conduct internal concept/design reviews.
• Update status sheets daily.
• Perform quality checks to ensure first-time-right outputs.
• Be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Your role

You will handle projects for design and development, interact with Team leaders, technical leader internal and external stake holders, inter team communication and present & discuss the concepts and final designs with supporting/required calculations.

You will be responsible for creating Approval layouts and final manufacturing drawings along with final release package and documentation for project.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Study the project inputs and collect data from Internal stakeholders.
• Conduct or be a part of project kick off meeting with internal stakeholders.
• Freeze the scope of work and create tentative delivery schedule along with estimate for hours.
• Create concept/concepts along with necessary calculation and validations by using checklists.
• Conduct internal concept/design reviews.
• Update status sheets daily.
• Conduct quality checks of self and / or team’s output to ensure adherence to defined quality standards.
• Deliver error-free outputs - "FIRST TIME RIGHT"
• Should be having good interpersonal skills and should be good team player.

Experience-

Preferred skills and Knowledge

• 5 + years' experience in SPM, Automation, Fixture design.
• Experience in tightening solution designs is an added advantage.

Design Skills_

• Hands on experience of conceptual design, Approval layout, manufacturing drawings creation is must.
• Performing design calculations is required.
• Hands on experience of Selection and validation of pneumatic cylinders, electrical motors, gear box.
• Good Experience of GD and T application is required.

Software Skills_

• CAD Software- Hands on experience on SolidWorks (Solid modelling and 2D detailing) and Auto-CAD.(Solid Edge and Creo is an added advantage).
• PLM Software- Hands on experience on Windchill PDM Link (WGM) will be an added advantage.
• Project Management - Should be having good project management skills.
• Communication Skills- prior experience in engaging with international customers will be an added advantage.
