Stryker Group in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to develop and manage detailed drawings and specifications for plastics and metals. You will translate engineers' sketches into Creo Parametric models and ensure compliance with ASME Y14.5/ISO standards.

The role emphasizes GD&T, tolerance analysis, design for manufacturability, and collaboration with design originators to resolve discrepancies while contributing to cost reduction and continuous improvement

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
• Experience designing both plastic and metal components and Creo Parametric.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using CAD software (Creo).
• Creates, modifies and controls 2D/3D drawings from engineers’ sketches and instructions.
• Generates manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings per ASME Y14.5/ISO standards.
• Collaborates with design originators to resolve design details or discrepancies.
• Develops and maintains drafting standards; transfers drawings between systems as needed.
• Provides CAD training and executes routing design projects, including stack‑up analysis and part design.
• Applies GD&T and tolerances; prepares ECN/ECO and revision updates.
• Maintains engineering docs, BOMs, and design records per standards.
• Supports prototype development, validation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do-

• Prepares andmaintainsdetailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software (preferably Creo).
• Creates,modifiesand controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches,plansand written and verbal instructions.
• Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
• Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.
• Develops andmaintainsdrafting standards and procedures; Transfer and translate drawings from one computer system to another as needed.
• Will provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects,to includestack up analysis, part design, and related tasks.
• Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements Prepare engineering change notices (ECN/ECO) and revision updates
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
• Experience- 5 years- 7 years
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
• Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficient in CAD tools : Creo Parametric

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and configuration control.
• Exposure to consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products.
