Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Delhi seeks an experienced structural engineer to lead and execute the design and analysis of ship hull structures, ensuring safety and compliance with classification society rules.

You will perform detailed finite element analysis (FEA) for structural integrity, fatigue, and strength, review calculations and drawings, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with hydrodynamics, outfitting, piping, and production teams to deliver high-quality results on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute structural design and analysis of ship hull structures.
• Perform detailed finite element analysis (FEA) for structural integrity, fatigue, and strength assessment.
• Ensure compliance with classification society rules, statutory requirements, and company standards.
• Review and validate design calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including hydrodynamics,outfitting, piping, and production departments.

• Strong technical expertise in ship structural design and analysis.

• Sound knowledge of classification society rules, ship design standards, and regulatory requirements.
