Job summary

Enerparc Energy in Bengaluru seeks a Project Engineer to lead detailed engineering for ground, roof and carport solar systems. You will conduct site surveys, optimize generation data, and prepare BOMs to support tender submissions and BD activities.

The role requires solar engineering expertise, PVSYST/PVSol proficiency, and strong English/Hindi communication for vendor and client coordination. BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4–5 years total design/engineering experience, with 2–4 years in solar.
• Expertise in PVSYST and PVSol required.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and prepare BOM for SPV systems.
• Interact with vendors and estimate optimum costs for solar projects.
• Serve as the single point of responsibility for project engineering during the detailed engineering phase of ground, roof, and carport-mounted solar systems, including system design conceptualization, generation data optimization, and technical assessment of RFP/tender documents in coordination with the BD team.
• Prepare and submit required documents on time to meet tender and business development requirements.
• Obtain inputs from internal standards, BD team, and external customers to design optimal solar systems and attend customer meetings as needed.
• Develop optimum BOQ with cost estimation for the overall solar PV system to support the BD team.

ROLE

• Interact with vendors and estimate optimum costs for solar projects.
• Serve as the single point of responsibility for project engineering during the detailed engineering phase of ground, roof, and carport‑mounted solar systems, including system design conceptualization, generation data optimization, and technical assessment of RFP/tender documents in coordination with the BD team.
• Prepare and submit required documents on time to meet tender and business development requirements.
• Obtain inputs from internal standards, BD team, and external customers to design optimal solar systems and attend customer meetings as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Expertise in running PVSYST and PVSol software tools.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
• Comprehensive understanding of solar systems, including detailed site surveys, solar product cost estimation, state‑wise solar policies, electrical basics, and civil/structural elements.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi.
• BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of total work experience in design and engineering, with at least 2–4 years in the solar industry.
