Job summary

Enerparc Energy Private Limited, Bengaluru, is seeking a Design Engineer for detailed engineering of solar projects including ground/roof installations. You will prepare PV layouts, BOMs, SLDs and run PVSyst simulations to assess yield and system viability.

With 4–5 years of total design experience and 2–4 years in the solar industry, you will interact with BD teams and customers, ensuring timely submission of tender documents and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of total design/engineering experience; 2–4 years in solar preferred.
• Proficient in PV design tools and ability to prepare BOMs, layouts, and SLDs.

Responsibilities

• Single point responsibility for detailed engineering for ground/roof carport solar systems; design layouts, BOMs, SLDs, and PVSyst yield reports.
• Prepare optimum BOQ with cost estimation to support BD team.
• Coordinate inputs from internal standards, BD team and customers; attend meetings as needed.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of documents per Tender/BD requirements.

The role is to be responsible for conductingdetailed Site Survey, preparation of Detailed BOM for overall SPV System, preparationof PV Layout, SLD, PVSyst Simulation, Vendor interactions, Optimum CostEstimation, etc., Also, candidates with detailed engineering experiences willbe highly preferred.

Descriptionof the roles and responsibilities

• Single point responsibility for project engineering duringdetailed engineering phase for Ground / Roof/Carport mountedsolar systems by doing Detailed system design conceptualization, arriving at optimumgeneration data, preparing PV Layouts, Bill of material and SLDs, PVSystReport[Yield Assessment], Technical assessment of RFP/Tender documents as a partof submission to customer in coordination with BD Team.
• Responsible for Optimum BOQ with Cost Estimation of overall SolarPV System to support BD Team.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary inputs from internalstandards/BD team / external customers for designing optimum solar system andattending customer meetings as and when necessary.
• Responsible for on time preparation and submission of requireddocuments as per Tender/BD requirements.

• Expertise in Running PVSYST, PVSol Software Tools,
• Active Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Google SketchUp, SolarLabs[Arka 360], Helioscope, PV Case
• Expertise in MS office package
• Should have bird’s eye view on entire solar system includingdetailed Site Survey, Solar Products Cost Estimation, state wise solar Policy, Electricalbasics, civil and structural elements of solar system.
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – Englishand Hindi

Education :BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience : 4 to 5years of total work experience in Design and Engineering with minimum 2 to 4 years in solar industry experience is mandatory.
