Job summary

Steel Infra Solutions (SISCOL) in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead structural design activities for diverse projects. You will analyze complex structures, develop design sequences, and prepare sketches, DBR, and detailed design reports, ensuring compliance with IS, BS, EN, AISC/ACI codes.

The role requires a BE/BTech (5–6 years) and an MTech in Structures (minimum 4 years), plus proficiency in STAAD, ETABS, IdeaStatica and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with 5–6 years of experience.
• MTech in Structures with minimum 4 years.
• Strong understanding of IS, BS, EN, AISC/ACI standards.
• Experience in design of conventional structures; knowledge of PEB/high-rise is a plus.
• Co-ordination with detailing, shop and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand structures of varying complexity and propose design sequencing.
• Develop connection design (models & spreadsheets), review and checking.
• Prepare sketches, DBR, design philosophy and detailed design reports.
• Coordinate with detailing, shop and site teams; attend technical meetings.
