About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with a Masters degree in Structural Engineering (MSCE) to join our engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in the analysis, design, and detailing of low-rise residential and commercial Wooden buildings, with a strong foundation in U.S. building codes and structural design standards. The ideal candidate should have experience working with a variety of materials including Wood/Timber, Steel, Concrete, Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), and Masonry Structures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for low-rise residential and commercial structures in accordance with U.S. codes and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation including calculations, structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout the design and construction phases.
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings; provide redlines and mark-ups for revisions.
• Ensure design compliance with applicable U.S. building codes and safety regulations.
• Utilize structural design software to deliver efficient, accurate, and cost-effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MSCE) in Structural Engineering Mandatory
• 7 to 10 years of experience in structural design and detailing of buildings, preferably with U.S.-based projects.
• Having a valid B1 Visa
• Proficiency and working knowledge of at least one or more of the following U.S. Codes and Standards:
  • International Building Code (IBC)
  • ASCE 7 – Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures
  • ACI 318 – Building Code for Structural Concrete
  • AISC 360 – Steel Construction Manual
  • NDS – National Design Specification for Wood Construction
