Areas of Accountability

• Structural Analysis and Design:
• Responsible for performing structural analyses and calculations to determine the most efficient and safe designs for various structures.
• Correct interpretation of architectural & engineering drawings and incorporation of the same in structural drawings with respect to project specifications, dimensions, and any unique design features.
• Ensuring that structural designs comply with local, national, and international building codes and standards.
• Design Software Proficiency:
• Accurate modelling of structures in design software like ETABS, STAAD Pro & SAFE.
• Project Coordination:
• Correct documentation of all the points discussed with all the stakeholders, incorporation of the same and address any design conflicts or issues.
• Schedule Adherence:
• Ensuring that the drawings are released on schedule.
• Site Inspections:
• Carrying out regular site inspections and notify any deviations with respect to GFC drawings or issues that may compromise structural integrity.
• Documentation:
• Regular documentation of design calculations, revisions, and drawings.
• Team Management :
• Coordinating, leading, and supporting the team to achieve common goals effectively and efficiently. It involves balancing leadership, communication, motivation, and organization to ensure the team works well together.
• Checking :
• Checking the work done by the teammates and supervising their work timely.
• Structural Design Basis Reports:
• These reports shall include load calculations, compliance with building codes, stress & deformation analyses, and other technical assessment details.
• Structural Design Drawings:
• Create detailed engineering drawings and plans that illustrate the design, dimensions, materials, and specifications of the structure.
• Construction Support:
• Respond to site queries within the stipulated time, attend construction meetings, and ensure that the design is implemented correctly.
• As-Built Drawings:
• After the construction is complete, as-built drawings shall be prepared.
