Job summary

AAKAAR IRON CREATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, based in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, seeks a Design Engineer to join on-site and collaborate with design, production, and quality teams. Day-to-day work includes developing and refining product designs, creating CAD drawings, and ensuring manufacturability.

You will coordinate with manufacturing on material selection and production methods, perform basic calculations, and support prototype development and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Strong design engineering and product design capabilities.
• Experience with metal furniture or precision components is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards.
• Experience with CAD tools for 2D drawings and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Developing and refining product designs, creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings.
• Ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Coordinating with manufacturing units on material selection and production methods.
• Performing basic engineering calculations, and supporting prototype development and testing.
• Resolve design-related issues during production, maintain design documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes.
• Interact with master craftsmen to develop product prototypes.
• Acquire theoretical mastery of all the fabrication stages of the prototypes.

Role Description

The Design Engineer will work full time on-site in Bhiwadi, collaborating closely with design, production, and quality teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include

• Ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Coordinating with manufacturing units on material selection and production methods
• Performing basic engineering calculations, and supporting prototype development and testing.

• Interact with master craftsmen to develop product prototypes.
• Aquiring Theoritical mastery of all the stages of the fabrication processess of the prototypes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering skills, including understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and structural behavior in metal furniture and precision components.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for creating 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Candidates should possess fundamental Electrical Engineering knowledge when integrating electrical elements into products or coordinating with electrical specialists.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in furniture design, metal fabrication, or precision engineering industries is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards, with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.

Experience required- 5+ years

Salary- 50K to 80K per month

Location- Bhiwadi, Rajasthan(30 mins from manesar)
