Job summary

Flatworld Solutions in Bengaluru (Banaswadi) is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to lead mechanical design projects from concept through completion. You will use Inventor (preferred) and SolidWorks, create 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and ensure manufacturing feasibility.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Design Engineer to join our Engineering Services Department. This role requires expertise in mechanical design, proficiency in 3D CAD software, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and alignment with client specifications. This position is based in our Banaswadi, Bangalore office and involves working in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Software: Inventor (preferred), SolidWorks (optional)
• Required Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience with 3D CAD software and Manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Collaborative team player.
• Expertise in 3D Product Modeling, Manufacturing Drawing creation, Sheet Metal Design, Wiring diagrams, and Surface Modeling knowledge.
• Creating Design Documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials, assembly instructions, etc.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, integrating new knowledge for development.
• Efficient Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, set timelines and milestones, and ensure on-time completion of design tasks.
