Position title: Design & Development Engineer – Precision Metal Hardware & Product Engineering
About the position:
We are looking for a highly technical Design & Development Engineer who possesses a deep understanding of precision engineering, manufacturing processes, and product development .
This is not a conventional design role . The candidate will be responsible for converting initial design concepts into manufacturable, production-ready engineering solutions while continuously improving functionality, manufacturability, quality, and aesthetics.
The ideal candidate should understand how products are engineered, manufactured, assembled, and industrialized. He should be capable of collaborating with designers, production teams, tool makers, and manufacturing partners to develop premium-quality engineered hardware and bespoke components.
A strong vendor network is desirable but not mandatory . What is most important is an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and product development methodologies
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering.
- Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8–15 years of experience in Product Development, Design Engineering, or Precision Manufacturing.
- Experience in converting concepts into production-ready products.
- Strong exposure to manufacturing processes and engineering development.
- Experience in working with prototype development and precision‑engineered components.
Job Location/ Hours:
This position is based in Jaipur , with occasional travel required

Job Requirements and Skills:
Job Skills -
- Strong knowledge of precision engineering, product development, manufacturing processes, and premium materials such as Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel (SS), Aluminium, Wood, leather, and other luxury-grade materials.
- Hands‑on experience in Research & Development (R&D), New Product Development (NPD), prototype development, value engineering, and converting design concepts into manufacturing‑ready products.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Creo, CATIA, or equivalent, with the ability to prepare engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOMs, tolerances, material selection, and product assembly requirements.
- Hands‑on understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC Machining (VMC), Investment Casting (Lost Wax), Sand Casting, Die Casting, Forging, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Laser Cutting, NC Engraving, Electroplating, PVD Coating, Surface Finishing, and Prototype Development.
- Proven ability to work closely with Design, Engineering, Production, Tooling, Quality, and Manufacturing teams throughout the complete product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility, process selection, tooling requirements, engineering constraints, and product industrialization.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills, with willingness to travel as and when required.

- Recommend design improvements to enhance manufacturability.
- Develop engineering solutions for complex bespoke products.
- Resolve technical challenges during the prototype and production stages
