Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Delivery Director for Healthcare & Life Sciences to lead large global delivery programs from India. The role demands extensive delivery leadership, P&L ownership, and governance across onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.

The position requires 15+ years of experience, a strong track record in digital transformation, cloud, data analytics and AI-driven programs, and ensuring client outcomes align with contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large global delivery programs and managed services.
• Strong P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and margin improvement.
• Experience with onshore, offshore and nearshore teams.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, quality Mgmt and program recovery.
• Executive-level stakeholder and client management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across large programs, projects, and managed services engagements.
• Establish governance, quality controls, risk management and executive reporting.
• Ensure SLAs, milestones and client outcomes are achieved.
• Drive program recoveries, escalation management and automation initiatives.
• Own portfolio P&L, revenue forecasting, budgeting and margins.
• Monitor profitability, resource utilization, cost drivers and financial risks.
• Improve margins via workforce optimization and delivery transformation.
• Partner with account and commercial teams on renewals and scope changes.
• Lead multi-year programs across technologies, geographies and vendors.
• Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership & Execution

• Lead delivery across large programs, projects, and managed services engagements.
• Establish governance frameworks, quality controls, risk management processes, and executive reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure contractual commitments, service levels, milestones, and client outcomes are achieved.
• Drive program recoveries, escalation management, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Own portfolio P&L, revenue realization, forecasting, budgeting, and margin performance.

• Drive transparency through governance forums, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reviews.
• Coach and mentor program and project leaders to strengthen delivery excellence.

Operational Management

• Establish scalable operating models, governance rhythms, and management controls.
• Drive workforce planning, capacity management, productivity, and resource deployment.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, regulatory, and client standards.
• Promote standardized delivery processes, reusable assets, automation, and AI-enabled practices.
• Lead and develop high-performing delivery, program, project, architecture, and functional teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong Healthcare and/or Life Sciences delivery experience.
• Proven experience managing large global delivery programs and managed services engagements.
• Strong P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and margin improvement experience.
• Experience leading onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.
• Expertise in governance, risk management, quality management, and program recovery.
• Executive-level stakeholder and client management skills.
• Experience across Digital, Cloud, Data, Analytics, and AI-driven transformation programs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Data Privacy, Security, and regulated healthcare/life sciences environments.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with GxP, FDA validation, quality, and audit frameworks.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience leading large transformation and modernization programs.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
