Job summary

Sociowash is seeking a Senior Copywriter to craft compelling content and drive brand storytelling. You will research brands, develop content strategies, and lead ideation for campaigns with high-impact copy.

You will collaborate with design and account teams, manage timelines, and mentor junior writers. A strong sense of trends and a passion for innovative advertising are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a creative digital agency.
• Ability to write award-winning copies with a wide vocabulary and strong observational skills.
• Strong time management to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to grammar and craft, with knowledge of latest advertising trends.

Responsibilities

• Content Strategy Research: research brand, products, competitors and craft strategy.
• Ideating and Strategising: develop core ideas for campaigns with strong copy.
• Ideation of groundbreaking brand campaigns and execution.
• Creating Social Media monthly calendars.
• Stay updated with industry trends to unlock opportunities.
• Coordinate with Account Manager to align content strategy with client needs.
• Collaborate with Graphic Designer to produce timely creatives.
• Mentor and guide junior executives and strategists.
• May include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• We want a smart and quick-witted Senior Copywriter with experience of 4-5 Years, preferably in a creative digital agency.

• Writing award-winning copies should come naturally to you.

• You should have exceptional creativity running in your veins.

• A wide vocabulary at par with Mr. Tharoor, with a memory of Mick Ross and observational skills like that of Sherlock.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• We don’t mind you being a grammar pedant who loves using the figure of speech in every possible way.

• Should have an understanding of the latest trends and their role in the world of advertising.

• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

What you will do at Sociowash:

• Content Strategy Research - Researching on the brand, the products and services, competitors, and creating a comprehensive content & communication strategy for the brand.

• Ideating and Strategising - Coming up with the core idea for campaigns and execution of the same with exceptional copies.

• Ideation of groundbreaking brand campaigns along with planning and execution.

• Creating Social Media monthly calendars.

• Staying aware of the industry’s latest trends to unlock new opportunities.

• Coordinating with the Account Manager for understanding client requirements and accordingly creating the content strategy with your team.

• Discussing your ideas with the Graphic Designer and getting creatives made in the set timeline.

• Developing, mentoring and guiding young executives and strategists.
