H.G. Infra Engineering Limited is seeking a Contracts Expert / Senior Manager to lead end-to-end contract management for large highway and railway/EPC projects. You will handle claims, risk assessments, and dispute resolution with clients, subcontractors, and authorities.

The role requires 10–15+ years of experience, deep FIDIC knowledge, and strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure contractual compliance and financial protection.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil with advanced qualifications preferred in law.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management for highways and railway/EPC projects under FIDIC, NHAI, MORTH and Railway/Metro frameworks.
• Identify, draft, substantiate, and negotiate contractual claims (EoT, cost variations, delays).
• Conduct risk assessments pre- and post-award and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage disputes via DAB/DRB, conciliation, and arbitration with clients and parties.
• Oversee subcontract agreements and align with main contract conditions.
• Engage with PMs, site teams, legal counsel, and client representatives to ensure compliance.

Job description

• Position: Contracts Expert / Senior Manager – Contracts
• Experience: [10–15+ Years]

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Administration & Management: Lead end-to-end contract management for large-scale Highway and Railway/EPC projects under FIDIC, NHAI, MORTH, and Railway/Metro contract frameworks.
• Claims & Commercial Recovery: Identify, draft, substantiate, and negotiate contractual claims (EoT, cost variations, delay analyses, compensation events, and price escalation).
• Risk & Mitigation Strategy: Conduct pre- and post-award contract risk assessments, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage Dispute Avoidance/Adjudication Boards (DAB/DRB), conciliation processes, and arbitration proceedings with clients, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Oversee subcontract agreements, ensure alignment with main contract conditions, and resolve commercial disputes amicably.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Legal Counsel, and Client Representatives to ensure strict contractual compliance and financial protection.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B. Tech/B.E. in Civil, M. Tech in Civil, LLM in Law
• FIDIC Contract Training Certification, NICMAR Certificate in Contracts & Claims Management, PMP or RICS Accreditation (optional), Arbitration Council Membership (preferred for legal contract specialists).
• Experience: Proven track record in managing complex contracts specifically within Highways, Expressways, Freight Corridors, or Railway/Metro Infrastructure projects.
• Expertise: Deep command over FIDIC suites, Standard Bidding Documents (SBD), EPC/HAM models, and Indian Contract Law.
• Skills: Superior negotiation, delay analysis, claim drafting, commercial acumen, and stakeholder communication.
