Qualifications

• Master's in computer science with 9–14 years of work experience.
• Proven experience in IP strategy and patent analytics in semiconductor equipment and related domains.
• Strong ability to conduct patent landscaping, novelty searches, and prior-art analysis across databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patents to highlight R&D trends and competitive intelligence in semiconductor equipment and related fields.
• Review patent applications for claim structure and clarity against USPTO requirements.
• Identify gaps in technical disclosure and strengthen applications before submission.
• Draft independent and dependent claims, descriptions, and drawings for US filings.
• Evaluate invention disclosures for novelty, patentability, and scope of protection.
• Lead technical discussions with inventors, engineers, and clients to extract disclosures.
• Mentor team, provide feedback, and maintain drafting quality.

Job description

Experiencedin IP strategy and patent analytics within advanced technology domains,particularly semiconductor equipment, fabrication technologies, electronicmaterials, display technologies, and alternative energy systems. Skilled inconducting comprehensive patent landscaping to assess competitor R&Dtrends, technology evolution, and strategic white-spaces. Proficient in noveltyand prior-art searches across multiple patent databases, with strong ability tounderstand complex technical concepts and evaluate the uniqueness of ideas.Adept at analyzing global tech-industry trends through patents, scientificliterature, and market insights to generate actionable research intelligenceand support innovation decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• IPStrategy Support Patent Analytics and Landscaping – Analyze patents in aparticular domain of various competitors to highlight R&D trends,evolutions, alternatives, and competitive intelligence specifically insemiconductor equipments, fabrication technology, electronic materials, displayand alternative energy systems
• Reviewpatent applications drafted by team members to ensure high-quality claimstructure, specification clarity, enablement, and alignment with USPTOrequirements.
• Identifygaps in technical disclosure and guide the team in strengthening theapplication before submission.
• Draftindependent and dependent claims, detailed description, and drawings for USfilings (and coordinate variations for EP/India as needed).
• Evaluateinvention disclosures across multiple technology domains to determine novelty,patentability, and scope of protection.
• Leadtechnical discussions with inventors, R&D engineers, and clientstakeholders to extract complete disclosure.
• Clarifyinvention details, embodiments, and use-case scenarios to support robustdrafting.
• Manageclient expectations, timelines, and deliverables professionally.
• Serveas the primary point of contact for client communications related to drafting,review, and revision
• Ensureadherence to drafting guidelines, quality benchmarks, and client-specificdrafting standards.
• Providestructured review comments and mentor team members in improving draftingquality.
• Contributeideas to improve drafting processes, review workflows, and internal bestpractices
