Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day‑to‑day Flexera operations using in‑depth knowledge of FNMS components and functions.
• Administer and manage Flexnet Manager Suite (Flexera) while analyzing software asset/license data and flagging variances on exception reports.
• Leverage administrator experience on Flexera FNMS for software asset management, and in‑depth knowledge of software license management and optimization.
• Deploy, configure and maintain the Flexera FNMS suite in an enterprise environment, including regular maintenance, patches and upgrades.
• Maintain strong knowledge of FNMS components and functions.
• Manage end‑to‑end software licensing processes for IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft.
• Apply hands‑on experience on Windows/Unix/Linux environments and integrate with SCCM, discovery tools.
• Perform daily SAM activities: track license procurement versus deployment summary reports, and monitor license compliance.
• Monitor software usage to identify risks of non‑compliance and under‑utilization.
• Oversee operations of the software asset lifecycle, including data analysis, exception identification, tracking, and compliance reporting.
• Refine, maintain and enforce policies, processes, and best practices to manage IT assets with respect to risk, cost, and compliance.
• Lead governance meetings, contribute to, and participate in transformation projects.
• Demonstrate well‑organized execution and timely delivery.

• Understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

Required Profile

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma/BSc with a minimum of 5 years of Flexera FNMA admin experience (IBM, Oracle, Microsoft).
• Experience in FNMS installations, upgrades, fix packs, API integration, and agent deployment.
• Experience with Flexera One management.
• Hands‑on experience managing Unix/Windows/Linux/Open‑source OS environments.
• Strong support for end‑to‑end software license‑management life‑cycle processes.
• Capability to propose technical/architectural designs aligned to business needs.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams such as infrastructure, security, workplace, architecture, and vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; project‑management knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to work closely with the License Manager on publishing timely ELP reports.
• Sound knowledge of license entitlements, procurement, and ELP reports.
• Ability to propose cost savings through optimization, simplification, automation, and AI use cases.
• Manage global operations, meet SLA and KPI targets, and focus on continuous process improvement.
• Provide management reports on inventory, software compliance, risk levels, renewals, and remediation plans.
• Support software license audits in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
