Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Software Asset Management specialist to lead end-to-end SAM initiatives across the enterprise, covering on-prem and cloud licensing optimization.

The role requires hands-on experience with Flexera FNMS, FNM SAP, FNM EA, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software, and related tools, along with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Hands-on with Flexera tools (FNMS, FNM SAP & FNM EA).
• Experience with software licensing, audits, renewals and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of CMDB, discovery tools and license optimization.
• Understanding of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and software lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end Software Asset Management initiatives across the enterprise.
• Administer and optimize Flexera FNMS, FNM SAP, and FNM EA for software discovery, tracking, normalization, and reporting.
• Manage and optimize Flexera SAM platforms for license tracking and compliance.
• Handle software licensing, audits, renewals, and vendor negotiations.
• Support contract management, budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking.
• Execute usage metering and license re-harvesting to reduce waste.
• Ensure software lifecycle compliance from procurement to retirement.
• Maintain accurate data from CMDB, Discovery, JamF, Citrix, and cloud sources.
• Produce reports using Cognos and SAM tool dashboards.

Job Requirements*

4+ Years of experience using Fle.xera SAM SME

• Strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Hands-on expertise in Flexera tools (FNMS, FNM SAP & FNM EA).
• Deep understanding of Used-based, Device-based & Concurrent License Management.
• Knowledge of CMDB, ADDM (BMC Discovery), JamF, Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud).
• Experience with software usage metering, license re-harvesting, and optimization.
• Understanding of multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience managing and interpreting software contracts and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle, procurement-to-retirement, and risk management.
• Hands-on with SAM tools like Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software, etc.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate challenges or issues proactively.>
