Job Description – Technology Risk – Data Privacy, Senior Consultant

Position Summary: You will be part of and establishing a team of data protection and privacy professionals focused on advising the Firm’s clients on privacy initiatives covering several regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA etc.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Participate in walkthroughs with clients.
• Understanding of several privacy regulations / acts such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, PDPA, PIPEDA, PDPL, NIST frameworks etc. and the ability to translate requirements from these regulations / acts into contractual requirements, technology requirements and controls which clients can implement.
• Good understanding of other cyber security tools such as DLP, CASB, F/W etc.
• Experience in supporting data protection and privacy programs for organizations.
• Evaluating and assessing client’s existing data protection and privacy practices to suggest insights and actionable recommendations to improve their programs.
• Conducting / participating data privacy and protection audits.
• Experience in conducting and drafting: DPIA, RoPA, DFDs using Viso, Privacy Trainings, TOMs, Data inventory identification, Applicable policies / procedures documents.
• Ensuring expected work product quality standards are achieved and maintained.
• Keep track of project progress and proactively inform Project Manager.

Certifications: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 LI / LA, ISO 42001.
