Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager–Data Privacy to join our practice. This role blends hands‑on privacy consulting with client management and team leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a self‑driven professional who can manage complex engagements, nurture client relationships, and contribute meaningfully to Privacy Pillar’s regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to RFP responses, approach notes, and white papers, assisting in effectively positioning Privacy Pillar’s solutions to clients.
- Manage client engagements and accounts, ensuring high‑quality project delivery, adherence to timelines, and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts to support regional revenue growth.
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective coordination, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
- Assist in business development and client acquisition initiatives to expand Privacy Pillar’s market presence.
- Support strategic hiring efforts and contribute to capability‑building programs within the practice.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy, information security, or compliance consulting.
- Hands‑on experience managing client engagements and delivering privacy programs end‑to‑end.
- Sound knowledge of Indian and global privacy regulations including DPDPA 2023, GDPR, ISO 27701, and related frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Experience in identifying business growth opportunities and supporting business development activities.
- Ability to lead small‑to‑mid‑sized teams and drive a culture of quality and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Preferred certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT (IAPP), CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or any recognized DPO certification.
