Job summary

Pierag Consulting is seeking an Accounting-Advisory Senior to support a growing vertical, working with global clients on accounting advisory, Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS engagements.

You will lead engagements from the front, ensure timely delivery, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across locations. The role requires strong communication and leadership to drive quality deliverables for major clients in diverse industries.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA with 1–3 years post‑qualification experience in auditing or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Ind‑AS.
• Ability to communicate with global clients.

The Pierag Consulting is looking for an Accounting-Advisory Senior to contribute to the growing vertical.
As a Consultant, you would be the main point of contact from Pierag for the tasks assigned by the global clients and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing the day- to-day operations of those engagements.
The role requires the individual to possess technical knowledge, including the ability to interpret
accounting standards and strong project management skills along with excellent communication and leadership skills. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience with Pierag’s global clients and exposure to various accounting standards, including Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS.Scope Of Work
Lead an engagement from the Pierag front and deliver timely and high-quality work, in line with the client expectations.

• Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting standards in the engagements on Capital markets and IPO, SEC/SEBI Reporting and Compliance, Financial Accounting and Reporting, GAAP conversions or accounting change.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with the client’s point of contact.
• Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clarity of communication when dealing with Pierian team members and Clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for Pierian on one's own engagements.
• Be responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned.
  

You Should Be a

• Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)
• 1–3 years of post–qualification experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting preferably with a Big 4
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Ind-AS, expert analytical and advisory skills
• Ability to communicate with global clients
• Experience in at least some of the following areas:
• Financial statement preparation and consolidation process
• GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards
• Audit of medium or large scale businesses.
• Candidates can expect at least two-three rounds of technical interview.
