We are seeking a Structural BIM Engineer to model and draft in Tekla Structures for varied industrial, residential, defense and public projects while coordinating with architects, project managers and Lithuanian colleagues. Strong English required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tekla Structures for modeling industrial, residential, and public buildings.
• Ability to read structural calculation reports and model accordingly.
• Strong planning, prioritization and coordination within multi-member teams.
• Excellent verbal English communication with Lithuania-based team.

Responsibilities

• Model and draft structures in Tekla Structures for varied sectors.
• Develop connections and solutions between elements.
• Involve in design phases from concept to detailing and precast.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and structural engineers.
• Plan work for teams of 2–20 engineers, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Interpret structural reports and generate BoQ quantities.

About the Role

• Modelling and drafting various structures of Industrial, Residential, Defense, Public type of buildings in Tekla Structures environment.
• Finding solutions for various structures, constructing connections between elements.
• Candidate will be working with such as: cast in place concrete, precast.
• Candidate will be involved in different phases of project development, starting to: conceptual design, preliminary design, basic design, detail design, precast elements, reinforcement drawings for cast in place concrete, as-built documentation.
• Candidate will be developing solutions and modelling structures while collaborating and getting information from Architects, Project managers, Structural calculation engineers.
• Candidate at the same time will work in several various size projects including teams of 2 to 20 structural engineers working at the same project therefore a work planning, prioritization and coordination skills are required.
• Candidate should be able to understand a structural calculation reports and model the structures and connections according to such reports.
• Calculating a material quantities and preparing BoQ's.
• Ensuring that assigned tasks / projects are delivered on time, with quality and within given budget.
• Candidate will be communicating and coordinating activities with His/her team manager and members that are located in Lithuania, therefore candidate should have a very good English verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Candidate should demonstrate a proactiveness, orientation to result and ability to work in team.

• Very good English verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• It would be an advantage if candidate have knowledge, experience and skills to perform steel-steel, steel-concrete, concrete-concrete connections calculations and would be able to design connections according to forces taken out from general calculation model.
• It would be an advantage if candidate have experience / skill using RFEM Dlubal software.
