Job summary

Sweco India is seeking a Tekla PRECAST element Modeller & Detailer with 2–6 years of experience to deliver accurate 3D models and shop drawings for industrial and commercial projects. You will generate GA and reinforcement drawings and coordinate across disciplines with international clients.

The role requires a Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, solid Tekla skills, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Fluency in English and a proactive, self‑managed work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of Tekla; basic AutoCAD and Revit knowledge.
• Experience on international projects, Finnish experience is a plus.
• Strong self-management and delivery focus; clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Study structural, reference, and contractual docs to define scope.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings/models to coordinate.
• Create 3D concrete models and coordinate with disciplines.
• Prepare 2D GA, reinforcement, shop drawings, lists, and reports in Tekla.
• Incorporate approval comments and design changes into the project scope.
• Prepare RFIs related to projects.

Sweco India is hiring Tekla PRECAST element Modeller & Detailer.

We are looking for Tekla PRECAST element Modeller & Detailer with experience in modelling, generation of shop drawing, GA and Reinforcement Modelling and Drawing. The candidate will be working closely with various international clients on Industrial and Commercial projects.

Experience: 2-6 years

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study and understand all the Structural drawings/ reference models/ contractual documents to learn the project scope of work and requirements
• Study and understand Architectural and MEP drawings/models.
• Create 3D Concrete models coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• Preparation of structural 2D GA, Reinforcement, Shop drawing, Lists and Reports using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes, and other revisions into the scope of the project.
• Preparation of RFI’s related to projects.

Skills/experience required:

• Diploma / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of Auto CAD and Revit is sound. Good knowledge of Tekla is a must.
• Experience in working on the international project. Finnish experience is an added advantage.
• High achiever, with a desire for personal and professional growth.
• Strong analytical skills. FEM competence is considered as a benefit.
• Good and clear English communication.
