Cronus Steel Detailing, LLC, based in Kozhikode, seeks a Tekla Modeler to create, modify, and manage detailed 3D steel models and drawings for industrial and commercial projects. You will interpret complex drawings, set up project models, and generate GA and shop drawings, coordinating with engineers and detailers to resolve design issues.

You will ensure models comply with project standards, codes, and client specs, perform quality checks, and support fabrication and erection needs across sites.

Competenze

• Proficient in Tekla Structures for steel detailing and 3D modelling.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tekla Modeler role based in Kozhikode. The Tekla Modeler will create, modify, and manage detailed 3D steel models and drawings for industrial and commercial structures using Tekla Structures. Daily tasks include interpreting structural and architectural drawings, setting up project models, modeling connections, generating GA drawings, shop drawings, and reports, and coordinating with engineers and detailers to resolve design issues. The role involves ensuring models adhere to project standards, codes, and client specifications, performing quality checks on models and drawings, and updating models based on design changes and RFIs. The Tekla Modeler will also collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines, support fabrication and erection needs, and maintain accurate documentation for ongoing and completed projects.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for steel detailing and 3D modeling, including connections, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
• Solid understanding of structural steel detailing standards, industry codes, and fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings and specifications with attention to detail.
• Effective collaboration skills to work with engineers, detailers, and project managers, and to communicate technical information clearly.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify clashes, resolve modeling issues, and ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Proficiency with related software tools (e.g., SDS2, AutoCAD, or similar) is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field preferred, with prior experience in steel detailing or Tekla modeling.
• Ability to manage time, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
