Job summary

Reliance Industries (RIL) is seeking a qualified individual for responsibilities involving area grading, land development, and project execution. You will coordinate with surveyors and verify contractors’ daily reports to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail in various aspects, including rebar bending, scaffolding, and quality testing of construction processes. The position is vital to maintain project integrity and efficiency in construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Area grading and land development.
• Coordinate with surveyor to establish plot boundary and initial RL.
• Sending soil sample to laboratory for OMC and MDD testing.
• Check the compaction utilization of resources.
• Verify contractors DPR and update report to Project control team.
• Ensure day to day execution; study of Project standards, specifications, drawings.
• Check correctness of rebar bending in yard.
• Check scaffolding, staging, handrails, ladder fixing.
• Check proper compaction of concreting and quality testing.
• Check surface rendering and finishing for concrete.
• Check proper scaffolding, staging, handrails, ladder fixing in case of work at height. Check RA sheets are filled up and signed off.
• Check proper compaction of concreting, field quality testing of concreting and cube sampling.
• Check surface rendering and finishing for concrete and fire proof surface.
• Check all embedded items (Anchor Bolts, Insert Plates) are in position and aligned / welded prior to concrete pouring.
• Check proper compaction of backfilling, curing.

Job Responsibility

• Area grading and land development
• Study the plot plan and lay out drawings and execution of the same in field.
• Coordinate with surveyor to establish plot boundary,initial RL of the plot and quantum of cutting/filling work.
• Sending of soil sample to laboratory for OMC and MDD testing and conduct regular field compaction test.
• Check the compaction utilization of resources. Inform superiors in case of improper/less mobilization of P&M/resources by contractors.filling layer and proper level of cutting / filling activity.
