Responsibilities

• The Site Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is executed as per design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• The role includes labour supervision, material accountability, and quality control while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain smooth execution and timely completion of construction activities.
• Supervise/manage construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, drawings, & specifications.
• Directly oversee labour teams, assign daily tasks, and ensure proper workforce management.
• Supervise civil work such as RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ensure timely execution of work as per project schedule and quality standards.
• Monitor attendance, work quality, and discipline among labour teams.
• Address and resolve any site-related issues affecting workforce efficiency.
• Ensure proper material tracking, usage, and accountability to minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with procurement and store teams to ensure timely availability of construction materials.
• Verify material quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications before use.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of construction materials at the site.
• Conduct regular quality checks on materials and workmanship as per IS codes and project requirements.
• Implement and enforce construction safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation of work progress, material usage, and test reports.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams for technical clarifications.
• Report progress, issues, and deviations to the Project Manager regularly.
• Assist in quantity estimation and verification of contractor bills.
• Maintain daily site reports, work logs, and quality checklists.
