Job summary

Exyte Design & Engineering Services India Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior CAD/BIM Designer to produce high-quality, clash-free BIM models and 2D deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD, under a Structural engineer for industrial projects.

You will collaborate with senior structural engineers, engineers and designers to deliver coordinated 3D models, 2D drawings and BoQ on time, while ensuring safety considerations and high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in producing high-quality BIM models and 2D deliverables.
• Experienced in coordinating multi-discipline design teams.
• Familiar with EPC or design consultancy environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Level of Detail (LOD) and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior structural engineers and designers to produce complete, coordinated 3D models, 2D drawings and BOQ.
• Coordinate multi-discipline activities to ensure integrated deliverables.
• Review work ahead of deadlines and correct errors prior to issue.

Job Title: Senior CAD/BIM Designer

Location: Hyderabad

Work mode: work from office

Job Summary:

• Senior CAD/BIM Designer C&S should be able to produce high quality, clash free BIM model and 2D deliverables using Revit & Autocad with the help of Structural BIM designer working under a Structural engineer for industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with Senior Structural Engineers, Engineers and Designers to produce complete, coordinated and high-quality project information (3D model, 2D drawings, BoQ etc.) on time and on budget to meet agreed Level of Detail (LOD) and other project expectations.
• Undertake multi-discipline coordination activities with all relevant members of the design team to ensure that efficient and integrated structural 3D model and 2D deliverables are produced on all projects.
• Perform reviews sufficiently in advance of all deadlines, such that any necessary amendments can comfortably be completed prior to issue as agreed.
• Ensure all 3D & 2D deliverables are thoroughly checked independently and ensure all errors are corrected prior to issue of the documents.
• Ensure Health and Safety is considered at all stages of the design process such that the designs produced minimize risk during construction while exceeding the host/clients expectations.
• Ensure high standards of presentation are maintained in all documents issued by the team.
• Supervise and monitor all work by designers in the team, to maintain a high standard of work always.
• Plan, forecast and manage workload of self and other designers in the team so that project requirements are met.
• Work as necessary to meet deadlines and agreed programmed dates while maintaining high standards and flexible in helping others meet their deadlines, as necessitated by the needs of the business.
• Actively and continually update skills and technical knowledge, a part of continuing professional development (CPD), to accelerate your personal development through internal work experiences and through independent, self-motivated, learning outside the office.

Core Competencies:

• Exhaustive knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• In depth knowledge of Level of Detail (LOD) in Building Information Modelling.
• Thorough Knowledge and experience in creating Revit family of Structural elements.
• Understanding of Structural Design solutions is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, PDF document generation and management.
• Previous work experience with EPC firm or Design consultancy is preferred.
