Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex business data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across a global life sciences enterprise.

You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, design data models, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams using SQL, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric to enable data-driven reporting. This office-first role offers 20% remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions in a corporate or consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, and data visualization best practices.
• Advanced SQL development skills and experience working with large-scale data sets and relational data models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; exposure to Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-impact Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Design scalable data models, semantic layers, KPIs, and DAX measures to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders from functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial to translate requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Build and enhance data pipelines and integrations using SQL and Microsoft data technologies, supporting enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Develop and support front-end and back-end components of data-driven web applications where required.
• Promote data governance, reporting standards, and best practices while ensuring compliance with security and lifecycle requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance optimization, user enablement, and adoption of emerging capabilities within Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric.
