Job summary

Lonza in Hyderabad is seeking a Solution Architect for End User Computing to shape global workplace infrastructure. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure UCs, collaborate with IT Operations and Security, and lead governance of standards.

This is an office-first role with 20% remote time. You will drive technology strategy, evaluate new tools, support worldwide sites, and mentor teams while delivering reliable, compliant employee experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale end-user computing and workplace infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, workplace technologies, IT security, governance, and service management practices.
• Ability to assess business needs and translate them into practical and sustainable technology solutions.
• Experience working in complex global environments with multiple stakeholders and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve global end-user computing and workplace infrastructure architectures that align with business and enterprise technology strategies.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and recommend innovative workplace solutions.
• Lead the design and governance of workplace technology standards across global locations.
• Collaborate closely with IT Operations, IT Security, Infrastructure teams, service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure solution effectiveness.
• Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and provide expert-level support for critical workplace services.

What you will do

What we are looking for

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale end-user computing and workplace infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, workplace technologies, IT security, governance, and service management practices.
• Ability to assess business needs and translate them into practical and sustainable technology solutions.
• Experience working in complex global environments with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
