Job summary

Prodapt Solutions in Pune is seeking an experienced Solution Designer to translate business needs into CPQ and Product Catalog designs. You will bridge business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, shaping requirements into epics and detailed specs for end-to-end CPQ transformations.

The role expects 8–12 years of experience with at least 4 years in Telco BSS, strong API-driven specification skills, and proficiency with GenAI-enabled analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong Telco BSS domain knowledge with focus on Product Catalog and CPQ.
• Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID) and TMF620/TMF648 APIs.
• Experience writing API-driven, microservices-oriented functional specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on use of GenAI assistants in analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Run workshops with business and product teams and translate into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design product catalog models: specs, offerings, bundles, pricing, eligibility and lifecycle rules.
• Define CPQ flows: configuration, pricing, discounting, quotes, approvals and handoff.
• Prepare functional designs, process flows, API/integration specs and data mappings for adjacent systems.
• Support solution fit-gap analysis, estimation and impact assessment.
• Leverage GenAI tools to speed up requirement drafting, story refinement and test scenario generation.
• Support UAT and defect triage, ensuring delivery aligns with the design.

Role summary: Translate business needs into solution designs for Product Catalog and CPQ programs, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Run requirement workshops with business and product teams, and turn them into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design product catalog models: product specifications, offerings, bundles, pricing, eligibility and compatibility rules, and lifecycle management.
• Define CPQ flows covering configuration, pricing and discounting, quote generation, approvals and order handoff.
• Prepare functional designs, process flows, API/integration specifications and data mappings for adjacent BSS/OSS systems (CRM, Order Management, Billing, Inventory).
• Support solution fit-gap analysis, estimation and impact assessment.
• Use GenAI tools to speed up requirement drafting, story refinement, test scenario generation and documentation.
• Support UAT and defect triage, and make sure delivery stays aligned with the agreed design.
