We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Senior Business Analyst with 3–5 years of professional experience in functional requirement analysis, solution definition, and documentation for enterprise web applications, customer mobile applications, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in translating business and product requirements into comprehensive frontend and backend functional specifications. They should possess a thorough understanding of application workflows, system architecture fundamentals, business logic, API integrations, databases, user permissions, and end-to-end system behaviours

The role requires the ability to independently analyse complex requirements, identify functional gaps, evaluate dependencies, and define scalable, logically structured solutions that are ready for design and engineering implementation.

Requirements analysis and technical flow design

• Independently analyse and translate product requirements into detailed functional workflows.
• Define end-to-end application flows, system behaviours, and module dependencies.
• Identify functional gaps, edge cases, exceptions, and technical constraints.
• Review and validate functional flows for completeness and implementation feasibility.

Frontend and backend requirements with business logic

• Define screen-level functionality, user interactions, validations, and application states.
• Document backend business rules, processing logic, permissions, and workflows.
• Map data inputs, outputs, dependencies, and interactions between frontend and backend systems.

API Integrations and solution analysis

• Define API requirements, request-response structures, data mappings, and error handling.
• Document integrations between frontend applications, backend services, and third-party systems.
• Analyse authentication, authorisation, data flows, and integration dependencies.
• Evaluate functional solutions for technical feasibility, consistency, and scalability.

Technical specifications and documentation

• Prepare comprehensive FRDs, SRS documents, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process diagrams, system workflows, data flow diagrams, and functional matrices.
• Maintain requirement traceability across UX designs, development tasks, and test cases.
• Establish documentation standards and review specifications for accuracy and completeness.

Development readiness, functional validation & quality assurance

• Break down requirements into development-ready modules, features, and user stories.
• Validate requirement completeness, dependencies, and acceptance criteria before development.
• Review implemented functionality against approved specifications and business logic.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve functional gaps, defects, and inconsistencies.
• Guide junior analysts and ensure consistency in functional analysis and documentation quality.

Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of dedicated professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology consulting, digital product development, or software engineering environment.
• Demonstrated experience independently analysing and documenting complex frontend and backend application requirements.
• Strong experience working on multi-module web applications, enterprise platforms, mobile applications, or integrated digital ecosystems.
• Proven ability to create comprehensive functional specifications, process flows, system workflows, and development-ready requirements.
• Experience reviewing functional documentation and guiding other analysts in requirements definition.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and modern application development practices.
• Willingness to learn new frameworks, tools, and development methodologies.

Must have skills:

• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, API requests/responses, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of databases, relational data models, data structures, and CRUD operations.
• Ability to create detailed process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, functional workflows, and system interaction diagrams.
• Experience preparing complex functional specifications for admin panels, dashboards, transactional workflows, and application modules.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, and requirements documentation tools.
• Strong ability to identify edge cases, resolve functional ambiguities, and perform impact analysis.
• Experience reviewing requirement quality and ensuring development readiness.
• Excellent written communication, structured documentation, and attention to detail.

Good to have experience:

• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or equivalent API documentation and testing tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and entity-relationship diagrams.
• Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, or comparable frontend and backend technology stacks.
• Understanding of headless CMS platforms such as Strapi, Contentful, or similar solutions.
• Experience documenting complex admin panels, workflow engines, configurable business rules, and multi-role applications.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, e-commerce, or enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with third-party services such as payment gateways, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and authentication providers.
• Experience creating BPMN diagrams, UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system interaction models.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements related to security, performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for requirement analysis, functional documentation, process mapping, and test-case generation.
• Exposure to system architecture discussions, integration planning, and technical solution
