Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience delivering enterprise product or platform projects.
• Proven skills in requirements gathering, functional specs, and UAT.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across Business, Product, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Strong ability to use Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps for traceability and delivery.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to drive requirement clarity, solution design, and delivery quality for our BFSI and FinTech platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of Business, Product, Technology, Compliance, and Delivery and is accountable for ensuring requirements are complete, stable, well-governed, and execution-ready before moving into development.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Governance

• Lead requirement discovery workshops with business, product, technology, and client stakeholders.
• Translate business, regulatory, and operational requirements into BRDs, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Own requirement quality, ensuring clarity, completeness, traceability, and engineering readiness.
• Establish requirement governance through sign-offs, change control, traceability, and impact assessment to minimise rework and requirement drift.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define scalable, practical, and compliant solutions.
• Design workflows, business rules, data flows, roles, approvals, controls, reporting, and operational processes.
• Ensure requirements are aligned with user journeys, technical feasibility, operational realities, and BFSI regulatory expectations.

Engineering, UAT & Delivery Support

• Drive requirement walkthroughs with Engineering and QA teams to eliminate ambiguity and interpretation gaps.
• Ensure complete alignment between requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Lead UAT planning, business validation, issue resolution, release readiness, and post-release validation.
• Reduce requirement-related defects, clarifications, and development rework.

Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement

• Act as the primary bridge between Business, Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, and Client teams.
• Manage requirement clarifications, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and scope changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Analyse feedback from users, clients, and production environments and convert insights into enhancements and product improvements.

BFSI Domain Expertise

• Apply strong understanding of banking, lending, risk, compliance, and operational workflows.
• Translate regulatory, audit, and governance requirements into product logic, controls, and system workflows.

Required Experience

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience working on enterprise product or platform delivery.
• Expertise in requirement gathering, functional documentation, workflow design, UAT, and release support.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across Business, Product, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Regulatory Technology, Compliance Platforms, Lending, Credit, or Risk Systems.
• Enterprise SaaS or workflow automation platforms.
• AI/ML-enabled or data-driven products.
• Client-facing implementation or consulting experience.
