Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 8+ years of Banking/Financial Services experience to drive end-to-end analysis, testing, and solution delivery within an Agile SDLC. You'll work closely with Product Owners, tech teams, and QA to document BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and RTMs.

The role demands techno-functional expertise, strong SQL and data validation skills, and the ability to lead requirements, drive process improvements, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience and Banking/BFSI exposure.
• MBA degree is mandatory for the role.
• Strong experience in manual and automation testing with SQL data validation.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC concepts.
• Experience documenting BRD, FRD, User Stories, acceptance criteria, and RTMs.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.

• Coordinate manual and automation testing activities with QA teams.
• Analyze test results, defects, and impact; support defect resolution.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and analysis; support API testing/integration.
• Manage stakeholder communication and ensure clear requirements delivery.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation/AI-driven enhancements.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Banking/Financial Services domain, combining business analysis, techno-functional solution analysis, and testing experience. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, and QA teams across the complete SDLC and E2E delivery lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, Functional Specifications/FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and RTMs.
• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA, and technology teams.
• Perform techno-functional analysis and support solution design discussions.
