Job summary

Tipsons Group is seeking a sharp Business / System Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to bridge business objectives and technical execution. You will translate fintech requirements into BRDs/FRDs, map user journeys, and ensure applications are built to perfection.

You will work between product vision, operations, and the engineering team, using Figma for wireframes, Power BI for insights, and Jira/Confluence for documentation and collaboration in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a BA/SA in software projects.
• Experience translating fintech requirements into BRDs/FRDs and user stories.
• Proficient in Figma for wireframes and UI reviews.
• Ability to create test cases and UAT scenarios.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience with Power BI to build dashboards is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Business / System Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to bridge the gap between our business objectives and our technical execution.

In this role, you will be the core link between our product vision, operations, and the engineering team (working alongside our Full Stack and Mobile Developers). You will translate complex fintech requirements into actionable technical documentation, map user journeys, and ensure our customer-facing and back-office applications are built to perfection.

• Requirement Gathering: Interact with business stakeholders, operations, and compliance teams to extract, analyze, and clarify product requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Convert high-level ideas into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and clear process flowcharts.
• Wireframing & UI Review: Use Figma to create basic wireframes, map user journeys, or collaborate closely with designers to ensure layouts match technical capabilities.
• Quality Assurance & Test Cases: Design detailed functional test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios to validate that the delivered software matches business specs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for developers and QA engineers to resolve requirement ambiguities during the development lifecycle.
• Data Insights (Preferred): Utilize Power BI to analyze system usage, track transactional trends, and build operational dashboards for back-office decision-making.
• Analytical Thinking: 2+ years of experience as a BA/SA, ideally within an Agile software development lifecycle environment.
• Documentation Mastery: Proven capability in writing clear, unambiguous user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria (Jira/Confluence experience is a plus).
• Visualizing Workflows: Proficiency in mapping business logic using flowcharts (Miro, Lucidchart, or Visio) and reviewing UI/UX workflows in Figma.
• Testing Aptitude: Strong understanding of how software is tested, with the ability to write comprehensive manual test cases.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to balance technical jargon with business-friendly language.
• The Power BI Advantage: Hands‑on exposure to pulling basic data insights or building reports in Power BI to track key product metrics is highly preferred.
