Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Banking/BFSI expertise to drive techno-functional analysis across the full SDLC and E2E delivery lifecycle. You will collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to document requirements and support testing.

The role requires hands-on experience in BRD/FRD/User Stories, SQL data validation, and both manual and automation testing within agile teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in Banking/BFSI.
• MBA degree is mandatory.
• Experience in Banking/BFSI/Financial Services sector.
• Hands-on testing: manual and automation.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum processes.
• Experience producing BRDs, FRDs, user stories and RTMs.
• Understanding of E2E testing and SDLC.
• Collaborates with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and techno-functional analysis.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Banking/Financial Services domain, combining business analysis, techno-functional solution analysis, and testing experience. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, and QA teams across the complete SDLC and E2E delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, Functional Specifications/FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and RTMs.
• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA, and technology teams.
• Perform techno-functional analysis and support solution design discussions.
• Drive requirements through the complete SDLC and E2E delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Define and validate functional, integration, regression, UAT, and E2E testing scenarios.
• Work with QA teams on both Manual and Automation Testing activities.
• Analyze test results, defects, business impact, and support defect resolution.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and analysis.
• Support API testing/integration validation where required.
• Manage stakeholder communication and ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation/AI-driven enhancement
