Job summary

ZF Group in India seeks a Senior BSW Developer (SoC) to drive embedded software architecture for ECU platforms, validating MPU+MCU architectures, and coordinating Linux/QNX and RTOS stacks.

You will build PoCs, define inter-processor communication, and ensure real-time performance while contributing to hardware-software co-design. A strong background in automotive ECU development and ISO 26262 awareness is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded software architecture and design.
• Experience with heterogeneous SoC platforms (MPU + MCU).
• Proficiency in C/C++ in Linux-based and RTOS environments.
• Solid understanding of inter-processor communication mechanisms.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Systems thinking across HW-SW boundaries.
• Automotive ECU or vehicle control system experience.
• Exposure to AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive concepts and ISO 26262 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Build PoCs and prototypes to validate architectural decisions, evaluate SoC platforms (MPU+MCU), OS stacks, middleware, and communication frameworks.
• Design and govern software partitioning and interaction between High Level OS and RTOS domains, including clear responsibility separation, performance, and real time behavior.
• Define software concepts for robust inter processor communication mechanisms aligned with automotive safety standards.
• Support integration, debugging, and validation activities
• 6 to 10 years of experience in embedded software development or software architecture.
• Proven experience with complex ECU architectures or platform software development.
