Position Value

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
• Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
• Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
• Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery

Key Measures & Indicators
(main KPIs used in the role)

• Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards

Qualifications and Skills

• More than 5 years experience/knowledge of BIW & technologies like stamping, welding, casting, forging, painting, machining in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering
• Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material and manufacturing process
• Stamping / forging technology manufacturing and costing knowledge
• English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus
• Bachelor or above degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or related area
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
• Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit
