Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing, test automation, and API validation. You will design comprehensive test strategies, implement automation frameworks, and collaborate with developers and BAs to ensure quality across J2EE, XML/JSON, and web services.

The role requires hands-on work with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, and CI/CD pipelines, plus proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in full software development lifecycle with expertise/focus on Software Quality Assurance, primarily in testing J2EE, XML/JSON and Web Services type of applications
• Hands-on experience in creating Requirements Traceability matrix that lines up Business Requirements to Test Cases
• Hands-on experience in creating Test Plans and Cases through to execution of tests
• Design and implement thorough, clear, concise test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, test cases taking into consideration the requirements and testing objectives
• Must have hands on experience in Web Applications and Web services testing using Soap UI / Postman or equivalent tools.
• Experience in testing software applications running on AWS
• Must have hands experience working with RDBMS such as Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL
• Must have hands on experience in Scripting languages such as Python / Java Script / TypeScript
• Must have hands experience in developing, maintaining and executing automated test scripts using Playwright / Cypress/ Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Should be proficient working with version control systems like GitHub / Bitbucket
• Must have hands on experience working with CI/CD technologies like Jenkins Pipeline / GitHub Actions
• Must have hands on experience with Defect Tracking and Test Management tools i.e. JIRA, qTest, Quality Center
• Must have very Good Communication skills
• Experience in Financial Services / Originations / Fraud domain is highly preferred

Responsibilities
