Job summary

GSSTech Group in Chennai is seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Test Automation with 5+ years of hands‑on automation testing. The role focuses solely on test automation using Playwright and TypeScript, testing web applications built with Node.js and React.js.

You will design and maintain automated test scripts, perform end-to-end and regression testing, and work with Dev/Prod teams to ensure quality. Banking regulations compliance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience testing applications built on Node.js and React.js.
• Mandatory banking domain expertise.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
