Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead testing efforts across enterprise applications in Bengaluru.

You will design test plans, execute functional, regression and integration tests, and validate outcomes to ensure quality across releases. Your role involves maintaining automated test suites with Playwright, collaborating with developers and product teams, and driving defect resolution using Jira and Zephyr Scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA and Test Automation.
• Mandatory experience in the ETRM domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr Scale.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression and integration testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

What We Seek In You

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA and Test Automation.
• Mandatory experience in the ETRM (Energy Trade and Risk Management) domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Strong experience in test planning, test case design and manual test execution.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr Scale.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression and integration testing.
• Experience with defect tracking, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies and software quality practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, auditing and software testing.
• Experience testing enterprise software applications.
• Knowledge of API testing and database testing.
• Familiarity with QA databases and testing applications.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing integration within development pipelines.
• Experience investigating customer complaints and production issues.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design and test automation best practices.
