Group Finance - Accounting Operation

Purpose

• Support Manager Reference Data & Data Management Operations with:
  • -Performance monitoring and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, other)
  • -Support internal/external audit review activities
  • -Maintain SOPs for Operations teams
  • -Maintain BCPs for Operations teams
  • -Manage delivery of change related activity, i.e. business funded
• Improving reference data quality and integration across data sources, applications and technologies

Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Essential capabilities
• Analytical and creative thinker, High attention to detail and innovative problem solver
• Self motivated, proactive, highly organised
• Requires minimal management oversight. Able to meet aggressive timelines while working on multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to stay calm in the face of adversity
• Experience
• 3+ Years of experience as a data analyst in a complex business setting
• Prior operations experience in Banking/Financial industry of managing ledger and source system reference data set.
• Demonstrated record of building trusting relationships with key internal stakeholders and business partners
• Prior experience supporting complex business change is desired
• Other capabilities
• Experience interpreting and presenting business insights from large datasets
• Experience Improving data quality and integration across data sources, applications and technologies is highly desirable.
• Qualification Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, science or engineering, or other is highly desirable

• Support Manager Reference Data & Data Management Operations in maintaining Operations service levels/outcomes
• Support business/process change to improve service levels and data quality for internal stakeholders
• Support Manager with key stakeholder relationships
